My first 15 years in the industry were spent as a MVS Systems Programmer, before joining Rocket Software in 2003 as a developer of z/OS system tools software. Original author of the “MXI” freeware tool and now architect and developer for IBM’s SDSF. I also have the honour of being one of Rocket’s Distinguished Engineers.
